I've seen a few of these, so I thought I'd make one up.
A lot of the bikes I have had, I don't have lots of pics, or I lost them or whatever, but here goes.

So I passed by bike test third time on 20/10/07. I failed the first time for not using the front brake hard enough, the second time I got a front blowout on the way and crashed, and the third time I passed with no minors. I think I still have the pass cert somewhere.

Anyways. My first bike was a '99 GSF600S, that I bought before I passed from Kris on here. He delivered it and then I had it sitting in my front garden for a while. Pretty sure it was 550 delivered.

I crashed this on a country road on a load of mud at 2am, and bodged it back together with silicone bathroom sealant on the rhs engine cover. Rode it around for a few thousand miles, then it failed an mot and I sold it.

I then bought a FZR600, low mileage, brilliant condition. I think I paid 800 for it.

https://s20.postimg.org/dlxssfe0d/Iphone_pics_085.jpg

Was fun, but there was some kind of incident with a bus, I don't really remember what, but I sold it anyway.

After that I bought a zxr750, was mildly damaged, I think I got it for around 600. It was great fun, but very heavy. Sold it to CM after a friend dropped it.

The only pic I have of it, is with the CB125 I bought from hoffy or hoddy or something off here for 100 quid. I cleaned it up a bit, then traded it for a bag of weed. My friend Squiffy_the_wombat did some good work, but had to sell it to fund his k2 1000 mot (all consumables at once)

I then bought an RF600, and a DRZ400E. Had them both at the same time.
The DRZ was excellent fun, full FMF system, lots of trick bits.

Sold them both for boredom reasons I think.
The DRZ went to fund the CCM r30 I bought off Jenks, but it was terrible so that went too. no pics unfortunately. I did blow up a berlingo on the way home with it in the back though!
At this point I had a series of bikes, I don't remember the order really.
A MZ ETZ250
https://s20.postimg.org/spp0tn6p9/Iphone_pics_151.jpg
A RF900
https://s20.postimg.org/jj6q6d1gt/Iphone_pics_156.jpg

A purple and pink rf900
https://s20.postimg.org/57dkqlnl9/Iphone_pics_034.jpg
A KTM 625 SMC of some description
https://s20.postimg.org/60urwyizx/Iphone_pics_148.jpg
The purple and pink rf developed second gear death, I sold to Big CC racing who flogged it without telling the next owner, as I saw it on ebay about a month later.
The black/red one I made about £500 on.
The KTM suffered severe death of the electrics, then cooling, then engine, then I sold it for a massive loss.

Then there was the second FZR600. It was a 250 quid bike that had a bit of MOT left. Squiffy crashed it at lydden hill
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpYCiDNFFS8
Then another friend Chakraist on here, crashed it at a local set of roundabouts.
https://s20.postimg.org/8gwlat12l/Iphone_pics_132.jpg
This was how I first came to know/of paddy, who bought it from me.

At the same time as this, I had a husky TE610, which blew it's coolant system, then head gasket.
https://s20.postimg.org/52jgrsbzh/Iphone_pics_190.jpg
This was how it sat, unloved for a while after I accidentally dropped a cam chain link into the engine. I don't touch the insides of engines anymore.
Sold it as a box of bits.

After this there was another rf600, I blew this one up.

https://s20.postimg.org/i7yyxw5v1/Iphone_pics_185.jpg

I had a CZ175, which was free, very rusty, and had an interesting start proceedure. You had to push in the gear lever and kick it over backwards, it doubled as the kickstart.
https://s20.postimg.org/hq8evs5nx/Iphone_pics_265.jpg
Sold it for 70 quid

At some point in here I also had an XT600. A proper old one. I got it for almost no money, and it had a rubber bung to replace where someone had removed the starter motor. I don't seem to have any pics of this. I also don't have any of the nighthawk. or the gpx750

I bought a VTR1000F with Squiffy that was in bits but complete from a breaker. Made a fair profit on it.
https://s20.postimg.org/hywcaumr1/Iphone_pics_086.jpg
https://s20.postimg.org/syoukwjot/Iphone_pics_011.jpg

I love my GT550s
I've had three of them! only pic I have is of me being chased round Pfizer's industrial unit by Chakraist.
https://s20.postimg.org/51e4c3zjh/36192402492992954625447.jpg

After this I had my first X11, which I had my first real crash with a car on. It was undamaged as such, just some scratches.
https://s20.postimg.org/u8fd1i6y5/Iphone_pics_063.jpg
I did a lot of this:
https://imageshack.com/a/img683/9383/22224810150185220809230.jpg
Then I did a proper job of it myself...
https://s20.postimg.org/n42lpl60d/Iphone_pics_168.jpg

I bought a divvy for 300 quid after that. It was excellent. I dropped it in the snow a few times, but 100mph and 60mpg, it was a very good commuter.
https://s20.postimg.org/3k1us19kd/DSC_0114.jpg
https://s20.postimg.org/sbwvlj1d9/DSC_0355.jpg
Sold it because a friend needed some cheap wheels and I changed jobs to a walking commute.

After that I moved house and didn't have any bikes for a while. Then I started having an itch and bought a SV650 that was up for sale locally cheap. It was shit and I sold it after a month
https://imageshack.com/a/img14/2655/dsc0384nu.jpg
https://imageshack.com/a/img814/9145/dsc0379t.jpg

Then there was a RF600, a RF900 and the BCF monkey bike. Which I hasten to add was in premium condition when Iain bought off me.

https://imageshack.com/a/img259/9673/dsc0495d.jpg
https://imageshack.com/a/img221/6392/dsc0450p.jpg

The rf6 I bought for 400 with no papers, passed MOT with no work and I sold it for 900. The rf9 I sold to fund the next X11, and a guy got killed on it in Manchester, and well, most of us know the story of the monkey bike.

After this, I had the second X11. This was my favourite of all the bikes. It had lots of power, lots of noise, and lots of muscle looking meaness. Kinda ugly but I liked it. I paid 1700 ponds for it.

https://imageshack.com/a/img19/8438/img20130414wa0011.jpg

Unfortunately as most of you know, I had a little oopsie on the mayday run last year. Some dickhead overtook a shittone of bikes into my path and hit me head on. Knight was behind me.
https://s20.postimg.org/bmn3piz71/DSC_0791.jpg
https://s20.postimg.org/p536taq3x/IMG_20130508_WA0005.jpg

I broke my foot in lots of places, and it hurt a lot. I couldn't walk for ages bla bla. Sold it to dumbarse.
https://s20.postimg.org/73uy5rt7x/rsz_20130719_142658.jpg

I bought a TLR before I could walk again, and put a foldable cane in the hump so I could hobble at the other end.
https://s20.postimg.org/gj6858lv1/rsz_20130719_112810.jpg
https://s20.postimg.org/iaaflh31p/rsz_20130802_152510.jpg
I had some fun exhausts for it. Fisty now has them, but is too scared to use them for waking up the welsh dead.
https://s20.postimg.org/uj6xysl9p/New_Image.jpg

Unfortunately this was ended by a van driver 200m from my house.

While I had the TLR though I bought a Thundercat off a guy on here for 400, sold it to JM the next day for 720 I think it was. Passed MOT with a small amount of work and he rode it to BBQ 2013 the same day.
https://s20.postimg.org/oxa3rngkt/20130805_171401.jpg

JM messaged me about it, I wanted a second bike, my intentions were not to flip it. I thought it fair he got a cheap bike and I got profit Thumbs Up

After the TLR went to be assessed for the crash, I had a bandit 1250 hire bike. It was okay, wheelie happy, fairly nippy but so bland.
https://s7.postimg.org/82a5vji2z/Optimized_20131206_141353.jpg
https://s22.postimg.org/e7zuiv0jl/20131206_141359.jpg

I then bought a CB250 Superdream from Shaft.
It took a lot of doing, from the time I arranged to buy it, paddy volunteered to pick it up in a van, but broke his hand, TLR was broken, and then I got rear ended in my dad's mondeo on the way to get it. Finally hired a van and got it home.

https://s20.postimg.org/94rfeu565/20140127_114206.jpg
It was fun enough, but wasn't the best for my commute, so I sold it to a guy who wanted to restore it.

I then bought an ER-5 from Paddy, who bought it from Nemo.
It was cheap, cheerful and pretty bashed up.
https://i.imgur.com/HquulYp.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/k2MTZZl.jpg
https://i.imgur.com/nEpusFu.jpg
Ran it around for a while. Was surprisingly nippy to 80, and handled okay. I snapped the chain and sold it for pennies.

I then bought a blackbird off Paddy, who got it from Mr_joolz, who crashed it somewhat, who bought it from Jay12234 or something. (pics are stolen from paddy's photobucket as I don't have any yet)
https://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/b545/paddynewman/P1010813_zps10e5739d.jpg
https://i1291.photobucket.com/albums/b545/paddynewman/P1010810_zps19a5eecd.jpg

It's okay, I'm using it as an everyday bike. I plan to give it a big overhaul, and maybe some chink fairings. Or maybe I'll sell it. Probably sell it to be fair, I fancy another x11, or something similar.

So yeah, that's me and what I've had. Except a few I don't have pics of or have forgotten.

Biking has given me lots of fun. Lots of moments like this
https://s20.postimg.org/md4tmoxbh/Iphone_pics_057.jpg
With headscratching as to what to do next

Bikes in the kitchen.
Group efforts
https://s20.postimg.org/46mzcc2b1/Iphone_pics_302.jpg

But yeah, lots of fun, and not much breaking of myself.

Pretty stylish thing, looks vaguely like a miniature Capri with pop up headlights.

Quite rare too, less than 20 made IIRC.

So, on average, around 5 bikes a year. Shocked

I passed my test less than 4 months after you and, including the 125 I had while learning, I've owned a grand total of 4 bikes.

Talk about "how the other half live"... Laughing

What a disgusting display of scrap bikes, majority of which should never be on the road.
