Here is a random road safety video I found on one of my class computers, graphic and pretty illuminating.

Note the amount of times a truck just ploughs over a slow moving motorcyclist. And people wonder why I go fast

It's expected in Asia. Thailand, Vietnam, China... all have the same philosophy. Not every one of cours e, but long-haul truck drivers often try to "finish the job" and claim the truck slipped.

In Vietnam they would try to drag the driver out of the cab straight after a crash.

Ack, I actually do shoulder checks and cautiously go through junctions (green light or not)... but still get told by the Chinese that music isn't safe.
