When my bike is switched off i put my bike in neutral and sometimes the neutral light does not come on, when it doesn't i have to pull the clutch in, click into first gear and start that way, but sometimes it goes in neutral and starts properly from the start.

Sometimes the neutral light flickers between being on and off.

When the light wont come on the starter motor doesn't turn, only when you put it in 1stg ear.

Its not a huge problem but leads me to believe somethings obviously not right, i have two different regulators and its the same with both, any ideas?

Cheers in advance

Sounds like a dodgy neutral switch to me, but I have no idea whether it is adjustable????

Could just be the bulb needing replacing. I think the light is in line with switch which controls whether you can start the bike or not. Try shorting the bulb and seeing if that works (much easier than digging around the clutch trying to get the neutral switch out!!)
