Was it on here that someone got given a solid cube of ally, a few years back?
The only obvious point of entry was a circular plug on one side, but it was milled completely flush and nobody could figure out how it opened.
I can't remember how it was cracked or what was inside it (might've been paper money) but it was definitely different. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

Perhaps more of a christening gift but...
A silver dollar of the year of the wedding (or birth if christening gift).
Can get them mounted to look pretty / display. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

If the answer isn't "sword", you need to re-phrase the question. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

heres some piccys.
There was alot of paper money and also coins, so everyone could hear there was something in it
On the other side, I have also given other people some brilliant gifts.
One was a small box - around 20-30cm wide, 60cm high, and 5cm deep.
It was made from two sides, and on the underside - it had hundreds of threads, and on the top side, countersunk with matching holes. Then each screw hole was filled with loctite and another adheisive we have here, and screwed together.
When they opened it, it was Empty... - id milled another chamber into the bottom of the case, filled it with money, then more ally, and milled it flat . ____________________ 1978 MZ TS 250 1 Supa 5

Friends of mine got married 2 years ago and didn't have a wedding list cause they'd been living together for 5yrs, so had all the houses stuff they needed. They're both big music fans and have a record player, so I got them a first pressing of their favourite Stones album 'Sticky Fingers'. Was about £50-60 if memory serves, but they loved it cause not only was it something cool and collectible that they probably wouldn't have bought themselves but they could actually listen to it too-they thought it was much better than the numerous slow cookers, toasters, George foremans that other people got them!
Guess something like that works best if they're both into it, although having said that presets for couples are usually biased to one party or the other...
Other things that would work would be to club together with some other folks and get a voucher for an 'experience day' thing-could be for both, or one manly and one girly? ____________________ Check out my YouTube Vids - Biking in Scotland |

Should also probably add that I'm getting married in 6 weeks and am in a similar situation with having essentially 2 households worth of crockery/cutlery/houses stuff etc so for our wedding list we've asked people to contribute certain bits to 'upgrade' our honeymoon. We're planning a trip around the western isles so things like a night in a yurt at a campsite instead of rough camping in a tent, or dinner at a certain restaurant or a trip on a boat to go wildlife spotting. It would be worth finding out what they're planning to see if you can arrange something to do for them-maybe even just getting them a bottle of something to be there in a hotel room? ____________________ Check out my YouTube Vids - Biking in Scotland |
