cbr 125 rev limiter

Does someone know how to remove the rev limiter on a Honda CBR125R FI? Because when I bought a used wire harness and installed it, the RPM limiter was gone..

Why do you want to?
Max power at 9800rpm and it drops off loads by 10500.

There isn't a load of hidden power waiting to be released on any 4t 125. If you want that, you need a 2 stroke.

I don't think he's asking because he wants to remove it - it's already removed; I think he's asking because since he's changed the wiring harness the limiter is AWOL and he needs to know how to get it back.

That's what I read into it anyway.

Ah, sorry.

On the carby model it's an ECU restriction, apparently not so on the FI though. If it only does it in 6th gear normally, how would it know what gear you're in?

Was it normally limited in all gears? On the carby one they seem to think it's only limited in 6th.
