Yeah, I might be up for that. Any clues as to who it's with?

What are the rules on people coming to view/take photo's for fun at track day's. I'm not far away and even my shitebag of a bike should make it tehre and back. Do I just turn up and go through the normal entrance, main or paddock side (i'm assuming the riders go through the paddock entrance to get into the pit's). Thanks for any help Thumbs Up

P.S. Will they be stingy bastards and charge me to get in?

You won't be charged to get in. Photo's aren't a problem, just turn up at the pits (you need to go through the tunnel at brands if it's after the track is opened) and say hi to BCF people there Smile.

You'll be fine. Northernlass always comes with me to take pictures and offer moral support. You'll be limited to the parts of the track you can access, pretty much like on a race day really, except you'll be able to get into pitlane.

It's a bit of a trek for me but...
...what's the Indy circuit like? It's quite short isn't it?

You can see a large amount of the track from behind the barriers! I went too watch me dad on his R1(uncomfortable pillion) and he did the Indy, we just came through the main gates and straight down to the track, where there are plenty of pit garages etc. A place to eat, a very nearby petrol station.

You can see the bikes up the paddock straight place, an also you can see the bikes go around about 3/4 of the track from standing at the fence near to the most corners!

Brand's indy is good to go and watch BSB/MRO so track day will be good too. For everyone going be careful at Paddock Hill, most bike's low side but then they 'dig' into the gravel trap and flip at least 50% of the time I see them. So you can imagine the damage Confused

A garage near by (couple of min walk) and there is also an Asda's about 5 miles away if you run out off food etc in Swanley Thumbs Up

The track is short but look's good fun very hilly/undulating. Thumbs Up

Will probably be there on a Blue GP125 taking pics/lurking about then Mr. Green Neutral

It may be short but as said above it's hilly which'll be interesting. Plus Round2 of the British Superbikes are held at Brands on the Indy circuit so it can't be that bad!

I feel I might be at a severe disadvantage on the Daytona... Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Why? With your suspension sorted, the lardyness shouldn't be too much of a problem.

On my best session at lydden, the only bike that overtook me was an r1; I was keeping up with him in the corners but he was just getting away on the straights. The r1 seemed to be less modified from stock than the r6 that I was riding, so will have been heavier.

The majority of people, myself included, don't turn as fast as they can either; just need to [ut more force into countersteering.
