Saw this yesterday on my way back from a trip around Essex.

Cheeky, and a bit dangerous. Was slow due to accident.

I saw a guy doing this in a wee Fiat Sciecento (or something like that) on the M8 at 50mph or so once, gave me a right fright as he buzzed past. The traffic was doing about 40mph or so, guy was a daft impatient wanker.

My only surprise is it wasn't a German badged car.
Yes, I resorted to a stereotype there Wink

Petty really. Didn't bat eyelid to person on the hatched area.

Didn't affect you, cry all you want Laughing I just have to assume you are 45ish and own the "middle" lane.

Perhaps Paddy didn't see the bit where the car veered suddenly with no awareness of the rider causing said rider to brake... so it did affect him.

The lane-splitting itself I call cheeky.

The swerving from left lane to right lane with obvious lack of obs was the dangerous bit, causing me to brake.

Lol, dat neg karma, by again, oldies.

It really didn't affect you, you were miles back, you could plan for it, nothing bad happened. You should take note that drivers + traffic = agitated drivers and loss/lack of concentration when they see a space.

Meh, cry all you want, no one deaded.

That's why I was filtering so slowly, naturally.

Anyway, I consider braking to me being affected. YMMV.

Would you have needed to brake like that if you anticipated that car drivers are all complete turd smashers?

Not saying I would do this, but there has been moments in the van at work when the mind wanders and I've had to think "Not on the bike, not on the bike..." Confused
