...given the way my joints ache atm that'd be next week.

I give you the Peugeot Metropolis 400i three wheeler.

Which is good as the missus can borrow it to ride on her car licence without even troubling theory/mod1/mod2 test route.

Review here, from the Telegraph (I miss Kevin Ash's reviews, rip).

There's also a review in Motorcycle Monthly 29/05/14 edition.

https://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02750/Peuegeot-Metropoli_2750181b.jpg

Although I secretly still want a Can-Am Spyder, but they are much more pennies.

I like the Fuoco, but that is a very complex front with many linkages and the stress on the steering bearings is very hard on them.

My dealer has one. He demonstrated how they don't fall over!

I prefer the falley-overness of my bike so I was immune to that sales pitch.

Apparently the hydraulics involved in making the 'voodoo' happen at the front are a slag to maintain and need regular attention.

oooh, saw one of them on the A5 last week, some prick in a Corsa tried giving him the "Big I Am" and almost caused a crash, so the bloke on the Can Am got off and had a quiet word.

...well it wasn't that quiet a word, I heard him call him a "Stupid fucking prick" from about 20 yards away! Laughing

There's an 86 year old around my way rides a Honda Cub. Extreme old age doesn't mean a three wheeler. Senility/failing mind/feeble wits does, hence why PCSOs ride them I guess.

I rode something like that a couple of years ago (Gedges had it). I was told it could be leaned around roundabouts until it scraped the ground (and it had scrapes to prove it). It was fun, if you like odd.

Surely another test is required nowadays for a 3 wheeler or have I got the wrong end of the stick. Category A and B no longer cover riding a trike of any description according to DVLA/DVA unless the rider is disabled.

If you passed your car test before Jan 2013 you can ride a trike on a car licence. I can ride a trike of any power on my car licence but I'm restricted until I'm 24 on 2 wheelers Rolling Eyes

I reckon trikes are far more dangerous too, purely for the fact that they don't lean.
