Fuel in oil burn off?

Afternoon all.
Long story short, after a slight hydro-lock incident my engine oil now smells of petrol.
The bike if a 95 cbr600 F3 with 40k on the clock.

I was thinking that after a good blast or two it would heat up, vapourise and exist the engine via the crank case breather and end up back in the airbox (so not all lost heh).

However having been to work and back, the oil still smells fuely and I'm begining to wonder if this may affect the clutch plates etc if left in there?

So the question is,
carry on as is or oil change?

Change it right away. It won't do the things you say but the petrol WILL ruin the viscosity and could well trash your main and big-end bearings.

I would change the oil. At the moment it is likely quite diluted with the petrol.

#sadface - changed some nice castrol only a few hundred miles old for morrisons cheapo...
