Eh, the same clips come around and around in different compilations.

I find them re-assuring because most of them are entirely avoidable, if you ride with your eyes open.

A pedestrian happened.

Followed by a handful of front brake, big stoppie and a dainty flip over the handlebars.

I try to watch these every so often to remind me to not be a cock on the bike and also to reaffirm that everyone on the road is out to murder me

hoiy crap I didn't think you could flip the entire bike like that just with front brake, I would expect the front wheel to slip instead

Excess speed a contributing factor in accidents? Never....

Right.

Watch out at junctions/crossroads - people turn there.

Don't try to undertake at high speed. Overtaking's a bit dodgy, too - expect the unexpected anywhere near a drive, shop, parking space.

As Rogerborg says, most of these would have been avoidable with eyes open and Sidewinder's comment - taking off a bit of speed isn't a problem with a bike, you'll be back up in half a second after clearing the dodgy area.

Except the one where the silver soft-roader simply turns onto the road and drives through 3 bikers in a row... maybe he was a hitman paid to take them out?!

The majority of those were biker faults, way too much speed and not paying attention to what's going on around them. I would imagine most of them came off really badly given the speed they seemed to be carrying.

That reminds me, I better go clean my brakes.
