Yeah A696 - A68 was always my chosen road for going south when I was in Edinburgh. Now I am further east its not worth the bother driving over so I have to suck it up on the A1.  |

I'll always say St Mary's Loch
There is the Dalveen pass from Thornhill to Moffat, then onto the Beeftub coming back out of Moffat towards Biggar

St Mary's Loch is going out of the north east side of Moffat heading towards Selkirk, and there is a biker friendly cafe just between the loch it's self and the one before it. ____________________ K8 GSXR 1000
