Oh, and just in case you didn't know:

Don't use any of the fancy stuff (full synth etc...) until AFTER your running-in period...it won't do your engine much good in the long-term...

I'd recommend SILKOLENE COMP 2 OIL. I've been told by several engineers this is the best oil on the market as it's specially for high perfomance 2 stroke racers like the NSR's and Aprilla's. Slightly more expensive that Castrol TTS which isn't as good.

Let your oil run down (but not too much you don't wanna bugger your engine), its ok to top it up with the Silkolene COMP 2. Laughing

I think TTS is the best, )fully synthetic and smells great, but is twice the proce of the next best smeller - TT (partly synthetic). I use either, but try to use TTS.

Mum used to moan about how much I stunk when I got back off my mates RD (used cheap oil), now she'll stand by my bike when I've got it running complimenting the lovely smell. Mmmmmm two stroke.

I always go with TTS, its the one thats recommended for the NSR (at least my 92 model).
Better safe than sorry!
