And any politicians for that matter.

My flat is on top of an office building, where the lib dems are on the ground floor. Went to go out yesterday and found this:

https://fotifixes.com/imagehosting/images/2014/06/28/IMG20140628101453ne.th.jpg

How the fuck do they expect me to get my bikes out, the bunch of wankers.

Theres only a small alleway up to this area so I have to turn the bike around when I want to leave, only its now nearly fucking impossible.

Want to throw those signs through their fucking windows.

Try turning the bike around on its kickstand:

Did it all the time with my CB500, usually when the narrow entrance to my yard was blocked by a van.

You could just spend 2 minutes moving one stack on to the other. Once you've dried your tears of course.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

It looks like it, but trust me there isnt, there these random concrete stacks that stop me using all the space when trying to turn around.

It seriously takes me 10 minutes to move one when I want to go out, getting all sweaty wheeling bikes around in my gear is not my idea of fun when im fucking late (which is always)

My other half works for the company that runs the office building, so I cant shit stir. Would love to though. Would have shouted at them by now if I could.

They will just fall onto the bikes. The bit at the top is where I Reverse them onto, and the bit at the left is where I wheel them forward.

Plus im not moving their shit for them, they cant just dump a load of crap in my back garden, which is essentially what they have done.

He just said 'steering wheel'.

I do similar, but hold handlebars on full right lock, lean it onto front wheel with back in the air, then lift up front to balance against me.

Fair enough, those things have the sidestand mounted pretty low.

That said, there should be enough space, might have to do loads of little back-and-forths to get the bike to the right angle but more of an inconvenience as opposed to being entombed under picket signs.

Hehe, might give it a go. Im a short arse and the F800 is quite tall, nothing like that little 600 against the guy in the vid, comes up past my hips at the back.

Maybe I should get of my arse and go to the gym

Yeah its not impossible but much harder now, especially as I use most of the bikes equally, so getting the diesel bike out is now a game of wheeling the f800 out competely, then diesel bike out completely, then wheeling the bloody f800 back in.

I realise im maoning about nothing in reality but I have been told not to shout at the wankers that did it, so I have to vent somwhere.

I use that area to work on the bikes alot too. Just annoying.

The side stand rotation trick is very useful. You'd get the bike out in a minute if you can do it, even in that space with the blockages.

Yeah, if this was taking place in Fantasy Revenge Land I'd have concocted a scheme to make those picket signs combust, taking the bikes with them amd using the insurance payout to purchase a new fleet of bikes, heartless bastard that I am Laughing Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Could try moving the bike out backwards, gods know I hate doing that (feels funny, less control etc) but needs must.

Heh that was would be nice, although they would find it difficult to replace the diesel bike. I'd have to build another Sad

I would, but the alleyway is only wide enough for the bike, and a rider on it, and is about 25 meters long Sad que lots of scraped fairings and swearing)

Have you actually tried talking to them about it?

Ask how long they'll be there?
When they plan to move them?

If they start rotting it's not as if they'd want to use them again. So they are either due to be trashed (firewood?) or reused (so they'd need to be stored in the dry)

Also what's stopping you wheeling your bike in the gap between the bike with the green cover and the signs on the left?

Why not put the bikes facing out in the first place anyway?

Leave your bikes laying on top of them. It's the only way.

I have, they say they will move them, repeatedly, then do nothing about it. I cant go any further than ask them again and again as my otherhalf doesnt want to loose the business.

"A week" Is the answer everytime I ask them. Its been 3. They said the same with the pallets you can see as well, they have been there 2 months.

My thoughts as well, doubt they are going to re-use seing as the elections over!

I do like the idea of doing it that way, but there is a large concrete thingy with grass in it that is right in the way.

I like your mockup, I will try arranging them that way, but they cant be reversed in, so I have to find a way of turning them around then wheeling them back. Im sure its do-able though.

Thanks! This is the kind of thing I was hoping to drum up in this thread.
