No power to power valve on DTR 125

Hi guys I was looking at my wiring loom today and noticed I blew the fuse, so I replaced it but then there is no power valve servo noise any ideas I've checked the connectors.

Could it be the regulator/rectifier gone. Cheers

Sounds like something's shorted out. It may be worth doing a potentiometer test on the servo.Check the powervalve hasn't seized in the head too.

Check the loom around the headstock and make sure it hasn't been chafing or got caught. Try moving parts of the loom about while the ignition is on and look for flickering lights on the dash. Also run continuity tests on any of the ignition wiring and make sure you have power to the CDI.

Have you checked all your earth's are still good? Also my mate had the same thing and a wire had rubbed through and was shorting out on the first frame, problem solved! His was just the valve not working though, sparked no problem..

But could well be a dodgy earth
