Anyone got experience with these? Find I'm having back problems on my bike and could do with easing it a little.

Are these generic, or does it have to be a bike specific set I have to look out for?

Depends on the bike. Take note that you might need longer cables and brake lines or you might get away with re routing. I tried risers on my current bike and they made my back worse, I could only go an hour and half with them on and 3 off.

Previous bike they were a god send. Prices can vary too £15 to over £100.

If you already have handlebars and not clip ons, try https://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/590323/Bars-and-Footrests/Universal-Handlebar-Risers/On-Two-Wheels before splashing out for something else.

I have a zx6r f3, i'm guessing they're clip-ons.

something like
https://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/523305/Bars-And-Footrests/Universal-Handlebar-Risers/On-Two-Wheels might allow you to do a proper bar conversion, you'll likely need new brake lines, throttle cables etc.

Theres always helibars or a LSL bar conversion kit.

With my last bike, I drilled the top yoke and fitted risers to do the bar conversion, best mod ever. Didn't have any problems with it.

I have risers on my Varadero. Just because I wanted a bit more arm room. You do need to make sure your cables are long enough as they can mean that turning the bars becomes restricted. On mine when turning full left lock my revs go up very very slightly.

Given your bike is unlikely to have the actual mounting points, some people tend to drill and tap the top yoke to accept bar risers/clamps.

You are about to do a shereen type post though, you shall get flamed hard.

Personally, see no issues except you are likely to foul the front part of the fairing with the bars.

Yeah, maybe I should just stop being a little bitch and man the fuck up. Need a more upright bike I think. Maybe I'll sell this and get something a little more comfortable.

Still doing the process for the ST, but all looks good and pickup is likely to be Saturday before BBQ Cool

Just realised this isn't the BBQ thread... you threw me when you mentioned it.

I'll update thread now.

£6.00 each is pretty good really.
