Anyone have any ideas ? took the stator off to change the seal put it all back together and now there is no spark ?

Not put the stator on properly? Kind of obvious it needs a strip down again as you've done something wrong.

stripped it back down twice , its lined all up properly , everything has been checked and still no spark

Wiring fault? Trapped, snapped? I would start there. Do a visual &/or get the multimeter out. I've just ordered two stator plates from Petrolscooter so I have this shit to come Crying or Very sad
