Aprilia rs125 2001model rev problems

I have problem with my rs125 i cant rev it more then 7-8k...after that its like he hit the max rev...engine is good, pls help me i dont know what it can be!

Has it always been like that? Maybe it's restricted.

Does the rev counter work properly? Rev counter is basically a voltmeter, less volts in, less rpm on the clock.

Also, can you rev it up to the top in neutral?

nah its isnt resticted,...
yeah rev counter works good,and i cant rev it more than that in any gear same in neutral...i dont know what it can be :/

Is it DFi or Carb?

Carb,dont think it is some restriction, maybe is some valve?

8k would be where the power comes in, is your power valve operating correctly and everything moving as it should

Hi

While the power valve opens at around 8k, the bike should rev well beyond that with the valve closed in the lower gears.

i didnt check it... will do it right now...heat up the engine and tri to rev it more than 7-8k and how i shoud see is valve working?

Should do, but it should also be open at low revs (below 2500rpm).

Goshhh i was shocked...one cable is broken :O
That one from valve! ty guys... going to replace it tomorrow
