Hi guys thanks for reading my post . I went to pick up a piston last night for my kawasaki kx 250 1996. . What kind of markings should be on the piston if its an OEM part ? This is my question? . Guy i bought it off claimed it was original kawasaki it was in a kawasaki box but it wasnt sealed .i want to identify if ive been scammed with this piston . Im curious because I dont want to be puttin some cheap crap in my machine .

Piston is a piston IMO. Unless you have exceeding the manufacturers state of tune by like 20%, I'd not worry whether its a genuine or pattern.

If you have exceeded, I'd be looking decent aftermarket anyway...
