No lights/speedo/tach

When I turn the key usually my speedo lights up, and my tachometer does that full turn thing, neither of those display and my brake lights and indicators also dont work. Bike starts up and headlights work, parking lights dont work. Currently at work so had to keep it short, no idea wtf this could be or how the fck im riding home tonight. Ty

Check the fuse my Varadero is equipped with two spares you'd need an allen key minimum though to access the fuse box I would have thought.

Edit - No allen key required the fuse box is right under the seat next to the battery click here.

thanks man! I opened it up, only one spare fuse and it's not the main fuse which appears would be the problem because everything except headlights work.. where can I get a spare main fuse?

No where at this time it starts coming light around 4am though but I'd just ride home anyway in full stealth mode with no lights if it wasn't too far.

Halfords may sell them or try your local motorcycle dealer I once went in and asked for a banjo bolt he gave me one for free.

Thanks yeah I'll defo get it sorted tomorrow lets hope I don't draw any attention to myself tonight lol. Also earlier my post was wrong I meant nothing works except headlights only headlights work so im not too obvious.

did you try a petrol station for fuses - kinda obvious idea i know.

Replaced fuses, nothing. Still same problem, what should I check next?

Is the battery good?

Has it got an alarm fitted?

You will need a multimeter and time to methodically go through it checking for bad wires.

Alternatively you could just buy a second hand loom from ebay I would have a garage diagnose the issue before I starting blasting money at it though just imply you want him to fix the issue letting him find out what it is then go away and fix it yourself.

The battery is good, no alarm fitted.

What's a loom? And yeah I might go to a garage tomorrow and do just that, as I dont have a multimeter or a lot of time cause of work.
