Why do i have to use the choke every time to start my bike?

Hi lads

I have a Honda H100 witch is obviously a 2 stroke witch ONLY starts from cold with the choke on, if the choke is off it will not start from cold at all

It seems strange to me because i have had a Yamaha Rxs 100 witch was around the same age and i never had to use the choke once (not even from cold) and the bike would start first kick, the same goes for my Dt 125R (1989) that has a manual choke but not once have i ever had to use it

The H100 seems to be fine once it's warmed up and the choke flicks off automatically

Am i being silly or could something be out out?

Because that's just the way they are

Plus the choke is kinda designed for that specific purpose. If bikes worked without chokes, then they wouldn't have them.

So, just to check; your bike only starts from cold when you use the function specifically intended for starting it from cold?

Does sound weird. I would try flushing out the fuel lines with carbonated water, just to be safe.

More appropriate question would be why the RXS and DT didn't need the choke to start from cold.
