Hi all,

The previous owner of the bike has removed the rear footpegs. I do not know a great deal about bikes unfortunately so was hoping that i could get some advice from you guys.

1. what do I need to look for.
2. will I need to buy anything else for the exhaust to be secured.
3. which model of bike hangers will fit .i.e. K1, k2, K3 etc etc or differnt manufactures.

Thanks

Remove the rear fairings and you'll see the mounts underneath. Two bolts hold on each footpeg hanger. You won't need anything else to mount the exhaust.

Hi and thanks for reply.

I can see where to mount the hangers but I need advice on the hangers themselves etc.

I think its only srad ones that will fit. Not heard of other manufacturers making them.

The exhaust mounts off the bottom of one of them. (I removed them on my old srad and put a lightweight hanger on instead.)

That's exactly what the previous owner of mine did. Don't suppose you still have your and want to sell them?

Sent you a letter this morning regarding the footpegs, you can ignore that now since you have answered my question lol..No chance of finding the one that you may still have?

lol Glad you're enjoying it, certainly a fun bike to throw around and not exactly sluggish!
In the process of boxing things up to move, if I come across it I'll give you a shout.

Bikeless at the moment. Had a cheap zzr600 as a runabout but having a 6month old baby now it wasn't getting much use.

If my fiancee doesn't spend all the money on the wedding I'm getting a bike once we've moved, can't decide what yet tho.

With a baby and a wedding, looks like it will be a mountain bike for you Smile all you cash will be going on them. I do hope you get one though.

Congrats on the baby by the way and your upcoming wedding.
