Hello.

I was looking for best possible oil for my bike and in a bike shop i was strongly adviced to get Vrooam 2T VR6 oil. The guy even tried to convince me that it's even better than Motul 2T oil.

https://www.motorcycle-parts.biz/media/catalog/product/cache/9/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/v/r/vrooam_64674_1l.jpg

What do you guys know about it? I didn't manage to find a lot of info. Maybe because it's a new brand. I've used it for premix (oil pump needs to be sorted out).

The second question is - what fuel to use for my RS 125 (2006)? Here in lithuania i only have a choice from 95 and 98 octane. My current choice is 95 octane "MilesPlus" from Statoil. It has some additives. I wonder, doesn't fuel with additives mixture with 2T oil result in worsened lubrication compared that of the premix with additive free fuel?

Thanks

hi,
same never heard of it.
with the rs, i always used the best consumables i could afford.
1 : 2 stroke oil - ALWAYS fully synthetic
2 : Gear box oil : any decent light gear oil or 75/90
3 : NGK spark plugs
4 : fuel - whatevever i could afford. quite often used the "premium" types of fuel sold by the big firms like BP Optimate, Shell V Power etc.
the more expensive fuel wont make any noticeable difference to the bike, but might make you feel a bit better, having splashed out on the "special" petrol lol
afaik, the additives are usually some kind of detergent + never caused me any problems.

cheers,
GAZ
