Hi

In my quest for fitness I'm becoming bored of the gym after 12 months. I still go but it's out of routine rather than desire I suppose. I'd love to go boxing, be great for fitness and stuff. Main problem I have is shift work. I did a couple of evenings a while ago but seem to miss more than I can attend. Gym is useful as I can go when I want, but if I could find somewhere that did boxing during the day not too far then I'd be up for it. Even if there was a few boxers in my area who want sparring partner etc I'd be interested.

Anyone know of something like that around berkshire?!

Ta

Try boxing gyms or boxing clubs and see if any of the trainers are up for 1 on 1 training or daytime training Thumbs Up

I had a look at boxing club options some years ago in Reading - there is one, but that's it - most of the area is too middle class Smile.

Very rare for them to run proper sessions midday.

How about, dare I say it (because it's a bit too culty-paelo-nutter-bad-form-olympic-lifts for my liking), but what about cross fit and similar? It's the current 'in' thing and so you're quite likely to find places that run sessions in the day.

I get all of the classes at the gym but dunno rather go do something 'proper'. Saw a club advertised in London that's open 10:30-16:30 or something, ideal hours but not for location. Might see if there's anything that direction off the m4 as that won't take long to get there on the bike
