You claim you're running a site for motorcycles and you don't know what engine sizes they come with? That's suspicious. I'd guess either you're some kind of grade A idiot or your trying to sneak in some spam. I'm erring towards the latter right now.

Yes, as other members have mentioned pretty much pick a number between 48cc and 4800cc and you'll be able to find a road legal bike with that capacity.

OP.
There are no hard and fast engineering rules,
a bike could have anysize of engine 47, 127, 164, 293, 511
just trends/markets/insurance groups/legislation
like here in the UK
50cc for sub 17 year olds etc
125 max for CBT riders
then 33bhp for restricted licenses
then just about anything after that AFAIK

Anything lower than 50cc will probably struggle to pull you about
( some may say 50ccs do this already)
After that its personal preference
Some folk are happy commuting with a 125 which should
keep up with town traffic very economical and usually simple machines.
Some want speedy, powerful, 'sexy' bikes like my 1979 CX500
I've had it up to 53 mph at times

If you're thinking of buying a bike, but you don't know what bikes are out there, how do you know what bike you can legally ride? The license rules mean that you can't jump on any bike and ride unless you've done a direct access course, which I doubt you've done.

This all sounds fantastically ignorant, and it also sounds very much like English is not your first language.

I've been on this forum for twelve years and I don't think I've ever heard such a strange question to be honest.

Upgrading is a bit more complex than engine size
you can get a mad mental 500cc race rep or a 500cc tourer
One designed to look sexy and stain yer underwear
One designed to clock up big miles without being a pain
in the arse, literally.
then there are sports tourers.......cruisers......

It just goes on and on and whatever you have, some
will like it and some will say its shite.
