Could be a number of things, can you tell where it is leaking from?

I'm no expert, far from it, but the first thing that springs to mind is a float issue, either a worn float jet which isn't sealing up, or perhaps a leak in a float, causing it to... err... sink!

I'd wait for confirmation from somebody more knowledgeable before stripping anything down.

Assuming it is that, is will be a fairly cheap fix.

Hi,

Firstly this should be posted in the workshop, not in general bike chat. Please read the forum titles!

Secondly it sounds like your float is sticking. Try tapping the float bowl quite hard with the end of a screwdriver and see if it stops leaking.

You'll probably need to strip your carburettor down and clean out the float bowl/needle valve area and check for any excess wear on those parts and the rubber o-rings. Sometimes you can't see the wear and the parts are generally cheap enough that it just makes sense to replace them anyway.
