Hi,

I'm currently planning an itinerary from Norway through Germany, into Switzerland, and then across to our new home in the South of France. Driving this part of it, as I'll have to pick up my bike in September.

However, I wanted to ask, for those who have completed the journey, if you can recommend some places in Germany so I can form an itinerary.

We will likely be camping and really interested in the quiet villages and scenic countryside more than the cities. We'll only have around 2 or 3 days to drive through and will stick on the motorway/autobahn until we get to the more prettier places in Germany - i.e. Rhine Valley or start of the Romantic Road or top of Bavaria.

Anyway, drowning in web pages so thought I'd ask here as well.

Thanks in advance,

Antony.

The Rhine valley is good despite being a bit like a German Lake District (very touristy in parts).
