I'd say it would be nice of you to buy one of them, then deliver the spacer he wants and fit it for him - all for free of course.

sorry but the spacer in the haynes manual looks nothing like the one on the spindles on ebay. Was not trying to sound condescending nor pedantic. The spacer in question looks to be collared unlike the ones on the ebay links. Again i apologise for the way i have come across.

you havent posted the exact detial of your machine, or the exact detail of the manual.

there are several issues with not posting as much unformation as possible on the subject while including picturers. it may not be a standard rear wheel which would mean that the spacer is different, the spacer may vary from year to year. post a quality scan of the manual and some picture of the the wheel and spindle.

did it also maybe occour that the collar isnt actuallt inportant and just helps to reduce water and dirt ingress. providing the spacer is the correct ID, OD and length, it work just fine
