Looking to test my new pc with some decent games.

I'm currently getting Skyrim as I liked on my old PC but was dog slow and grabbing some of the COD games, but looking for something that should keep me amused for a while.

Shooters, adventure, RPG, those types of games are my bag. Was considering Watch Dogs but need a new HDD before attempting the 12GB download Laughing

BF4 is always good.
Assetto Corsa for racing games
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is epic

What's your steam and origin username?

Wolfenstein is a good one, the levels are beautiful.
GTAIV with the traffic density cranked up and some of those graphics wrappers might be fun to fiddle around with (oh, and LCPDFR)
My friend is enjoying Warface quite a lot.

EDIT: If you want to melt your new PC, ArmA3.

currently playing The Witcher, then moving onto the witcher 2, pretty decent game so far, rpg which so far is soley comprised of sex and violence, but mainly sex Laughing

Payday 2 is good for a laugh,

i've actually found myself playing older games over new ones, partially due to funds and partially due to a lot of them being better

add me on steam, could recommend you a bunch of others which are cheap to buy

I wouldn't bother with Call of Duty to test a rig, they've all used the IW3 engine since about 2006 so it won't be particularly challenging.

Any of the Crysis series should put serious strain on most PCs, even though the first one is a few years old now there are so many visual effects packed into it that it's still quite demanding.

HOWEVER

In 6 hours time I will.

It is a good feeling when you have a PC that is remarkably faster than your previous. I am still fapping.

Oh yes. Processor tripled, RAM doubled in both speed and capacity, graphics sextupled (512MB to 3GB), SATA bus speed doubled so my SSD can finally run at full speed.

I even got a blu ray drive, since my current DVD drive would only recognise CDs.

Have you ever heard of War Thunder? Looks better, has better physics, game modes, can be used as ''flight sim'' and does not require latest hardware to run at decent fps at 1080p, max settings. It also has tanks in the game, and tanks vs. planes on one map. Thumbs Up

I play WT on my very famous and rather old Q6600 at 1080p, max settings. Planes at 80fps, tanks around 30fps (sometimes I drop it to 720p to get a bit better performance).

EDIT: War Thunder vs. World of tanks.
(Both games are F2P, WT contains tanks and planes. WoT and World of warplanes are 2 different games.)

For me I would definitely recommand Metro Last Light. It is gorgeous and I absolutely loved the art and feel of the game (And I'm not just talking about the lap dance scene Evil or Very Mad ).
Thumbs Up
