Ok guys I'm a little confused and after some clarification on the new licencing laws.

I passed my mod 2 test 8 days ago Smile I understand that if you accumulate 6 points in the first 2 years you lose everything and start again from applying for a provisional followed by CBT, theory, Mod 1 & Mod 2.

Ok so far, but yesterday I was told that this does not apply to me as I have held car licence for 28 years and that this is for first time licence holders.

I'm not really a speeder but am always conscious of the fact, if there is any truth in this it will give me a little re-assurance Smile

new licence doesnt apply as you have already got licence

This is correct. you've had your license for 28 years, all you've done is add an entitlement to it. You can go for the full 12 points if you like.
