Okay, so I've been looking for a physical bike store for a while now. Then I see somewhere around here that Hein Gericke has stores in London, even though they don't even have a f**king English website. I go on Google and look for a store in my area NW London and find several pages that show a store in Harrow. Check out Google Street View and there it is. So, this morning I go there to check out the store only to find out that it's been replaced by a god damn furniture store. What In The F**K!!! I start screaming right there in front of the store, beat up two immigrants and steal their chicken. Shocked

Can anyone please tell me where can I find a Hein Geris**t store in London or any other big motorcycle store.

I'm sick of ordering on the internet Puke

You're not going to find one anywhere.

J&S have bought some of them though.

I would recommend J&S, park outside and a member of staff should come out to greet you.

Didn't Hein Gericke recently go into administration in the UK late last year/ early this one? Not sure there are any left still operating under than name?

I believe J&S purchased a dozen stores and some stock. Maybe check for your nearest J&S store instead.

There are tons of bike shops around London though, there is no reason you should struggle.

Motoden Honda and Metropolis Triumph spring to mind as particularly large ones.

I hope you aren't planning on just parking outside the accessory store when you find one without going in! We've had enough bother from such types of late!

Hein Gericke UK went into administration last year. Most of their stores are either J and S accessories now, or have shut down.

Thanks for the info regarding Hein and the other options. I see there are a few Motoden stores in London, still I have this feeling that they'll take the clothes off my back if I go in there. Found some J&S ones, though, so gonna give those a visit. Bounce!

I've had gloves and boots from Motoden, they're not outrageously expensive by London standards.

J+S? Take plenty of lube with you. Used to be a good pile em high, sell em cheap place. Now they seem to be after the wallets of the BMW GS types.

J&S have a particularly good customer service attitude and are happy for you to park your bike outside whilst you run other errands such as visiting a client in a nearby house or going to the supermarket to do the weekly shop.

Thumbs Up

I think Infinity took some of them on too. The Norwich HG is Infinity - Not sure if that's good or bad.

No you didn't.

Also why are you using the word 'store'? You aren't American.

Yes it's an Americanism - there are loads. Some get used intentionally, some don't. You should admit that you're being a bit hypocritical.

There's a JnS ex Heine Gerick store in Aberdeen. They used to scream and shout at people outside but I'm not sure if they still offer that service. Whistle

Your closest HG shop is in Blackerberg, Belgium at the Honda dealer there.

Take a daytrip, email the shop a week before you go, saying what you are genuinely interested in and he'll have it there for you to try.

The owner has a decent grasp of english and is happy to help, no grunting and pointing because they don't give a toss like just about every kit shop in the uk I've had the misfortune to go into.
