Honda CBR 650F

Hi all,

As the title says I have bought one of the Honda CBR 650F bikes. Been very happy with it so far but itching to get some modifications on it.

I have eventually found a tail tidy that should work:

I should get some crash bungs sorted and really wanted to get an exhaust and was really looking to see if anyone knew if anything would fit or heard anything about any other mods that could work?

Aftermarket exhaust (SP Engineering or Delkevic would be my choice)
Any adjustements/mod's for comfort, e.g. Renthals, heated grips, double bubble screen, one of those seat pillow thingies and so on.
Tail Tidy
Smaller indicators (originals are always huuuuge)
Smaller number plate (looks soo much tidier with a smaller number plate + tail tidy)
Rear hugger/mudguard

Ahh, I didn't notice that you were struggling to find parts, thought you were after ideas for mod's.

It's a new bike so i'm sure Honda will have some overpriced plasticy bits for it.

It may just have to be a matter of waiting for companies to develop parts but I would of thought bigger brands such as R&G and the major exhaust manafactures would of already had products ready for the new CBR650F.

Leave it standard. It's hardly like any modifications are going to make it less dull.

Say what you want really but I am loving it for my first big bike. In white it looks beautiful just needs a nice exhaust to make it sound good.

Looks good IMO
Doesn't look as bloated as the fairing on the olde 600F
Although I personally wouldn't buy a new bike for my first big bike.

That should arrive tomorrow. I really wanted an exhaust. I love the bike. Brand new doesn't bother me and gives me peace of mind for the first bike.

MPG is reading as 55 atm but I have not been gentle in the slightest

Nice bike....have been looking at these as I want a good all rounder bike that I can commute on but also take for a blast at weekends.

If you dont mind me asking, what kind of deal did you get on it new? I know they are rrp £7000 but wondered if youd got anything knocked off or freebies included?

Not much of a deal but I wanted it. It has cost me next to nothing is a brilliant all round bike. Goes fine as a tourer and I commute to work with it but I can blast about at the weekend with my mates and keep up with them fine.

kramdra that is your opinion. I had a black bike before and am loving the colour of this one currently.
