recaptcha on your own php site

hello

ive tried to put recaptcha in my site (little project im toying with). when registering, the recaptcha box shows but regardless to whether you fill it in or not you can still click the continue and be registered. i have a rough idea what needs doing but im not too good with php, has anyone added it to their own site before?

Sounds like you need to prevent the default action of the form. In jquery it's something like event.preventDefault().

PHP is the back end. The form is displayed on the front end, so HTML/CSS/whatever.

The bit in php that reads the form needs to know to only accept it if the correct stuff is entered.

its all round the form stuff, i guess id have to take out the original code for the submit button when registering and replacing it with the recaptcha code button code stuff
