Got to have a go on one of these today,a friend of mine took a brand new one out for a demo. So we swapped bikes at one point. Was the full fat version all the toys QS,TC bla bla.

Stuck it in track mode and got to give a good hammering and to be honest it was pretty underwhelming. 12 n half grand doesn't seem to buy you a lot these days!

Is the fuel consumption still horrific? That put me off before I even began with those things. Super thirsty bikes aren't much fun imo

Sad

Another one off the list then. I liked the idea of trying a Tuono V4, but I guess I'll have to think about trying a twin instead (one day).
The twin is a good bike isn't it?

i am surprised you didnt like it
the one i had for a day was mental.
had to play with the buttons a bit to get it to do stuff
sounded great
looked odd
pulled very hard from about 5k up to 12k
didnt have the low down pull i was expecting
loved it
getting back on my fz1 after was horrible .
didnt buy
because service intervals of 4k is silly
no dealer support near were i live
fuel tank range is still under 100miles if ridden with any gusto.
and horror stories of engine failures

switch all the toys off.
kittens die and baby jesus cries.
dealer had set shift light at 8k on the one i had
ignore that red bit
loved the quick shift and the slipper clutch(1st one ive used)
gear box was so silky smooth
just to scared to spunk 12k on a bike that might die in 10000 miles
