Utter tossers. I guess they can only want them for the metal as they would be impossible to sell on (unless stolen to order).

How did they manage to get in and out of there though? Don't they have security working there overnight?

I'd be surprised for such small gains, scrap silver seems to go for about £360/kilo, hardly a life changing profit for an insider to risk getting put away. Probably just the usual brain-dead smash & grab morons.
