Found a possible rolling chassis for my cd200 to finally come back to life.

I'm aware that the CD185 and CD200 are quite easy to swap around between, but is it possible to fit a cd200 engine into a cd175 frame?

Had a good trawl around google and found no relevant info.

Anybody tried it?

thanks,
I know the cd175 is better overall. But its just a rolling chassis so no engine otherwise i wouldn't bother fitting the 200 motor.

Due to my cd200 frame being really rotten, and the engine being in good condition i am trying to find suitable frames for it.
Cd200 ones are hard to find!

The motors have the same mounting points so should bolt in without to much faff. Can anyone please explain why the cd175 is so much better than the 200? Never found 12v electrics and electronic ignition a backwards step vs 6v and points.....even if it does still have a mechanical advance unit! These things are pure commuter bikes...great around town for no fuss cheap reliable transport and crap at just about everything else. Regular maintenance on my 200 consisted of mostly changing exhaust pipes and mudguards when they rusted thru!!!
