Well my brother has been banging on for months about going, I went for my first trip to the Ace last night in years. Back when I was a kid I went every week or so with my dad on his bike but since then I've not had the chance to go for a few years now.

Took the chance last night before the weather gets any worse. My brother met his mate and went straight down the motorway, me and my mate went down the 413 from Aylesbury to Uxbridge, preferring the ride rather than just getting there asap. Got integrated with a group of 3 other bikes, Triumph, Bandit and an Aprilia. Dunno if any of them are on here? If I say Ambulance and temporary lights I'm sure they'll know Laughing

Anyway, made it there, busier than I remember, maybe a bit too busy for me. We'd planned to eat but it was way too busy so we ate when we went home. There's the usual combo of strange people, people fighting and people who think they're better than everyone else because they have a bit of coin/nice bike on HP. Lots of 125's judging by the amount of R125's that were buzzing about Yamaha must be fucking well in the money.

It was good, but I dont think I'd go every week like my brother, once a month maybe through summer.

Anyone else go regular?

I was supposed to go with a few bikers from work but never got round to it cause I was on a late shift and they were all finishing early. What do you actually do there? Seems interesting though, a colleague showed me a video of stunters doing all this crazy stuff, would be a nice thing to watch.

Best selling "supersports" bike in the UK, best selling 125 last month - yes, more than the YBR, CBF, or any scooter. Rolling Eyes

Enjoyable place Fridays and nice to browse the Sunday bikes. Theres usually a theme, this weeks sports bikes, but it can be everything, adventure bikes, dirt bikes, old brits, scramblers etc. I head up Sunday mornings when there is one on that interests me. Vincents and Velocettes in a few weeks with BSAs at the end of September.

I go there very rarely, largely due to the overwhelming presence of pillocks and pedbois. High Beach is far nicer.

It's not all it's cracked up to be.

Been once, to say I've been. Wouldn't do it again.

Prefer High Beech, although that's under threat too now.

Not been for YONKS.

I have been known to stop there for coffee and a wee on the way home from one of my (rare) long distance jaunts, if I'm on my own.

I used to go a lot more often, but I tend only randomly to go to "special nights" - bikes or cars (I probably wouldn't specifically go to a Jap-bike special night) Shocked

The queue for food is not so bad as it seems, it usually moves quite quickly, cos regs tend to know what they want/like. It's only the tourists and first timers who have no clue how or what to order.

Down the ace pretty regularly, mainly for classic car night.

I'd be up for a trip there.

I live close by but have never been. I really must get off my arse and go and check it out, but I much prefer getting out of London on my bike rather than riding anywhere in London.

Forgot I posted this. It's worth a look if you're local and have nothing better to do but I would ride hours and hours for it. I think a few years bike the wheelies and mucking about were less frowned upon, now they're trying to shut the place down because of it.

Going again tonight but I'm not hanging about, going to go late then mooch about London on the bikes.
