I need a new set of tyres as my rear is pretty much a slick. I've got a lsm125 (I know) so I'm after 110/70 17 and 130/70 17, front and back respectively.

I was considering a set of semi-knobblies but I doubt my Chinese beast could handle any extra vibrations. And with the cold weather swooping in full road tyres seem like the better choice. I've had a brief search but I don't really know which brands to aim for or the difference on tread and all that.

So, any reccomendations for a set of 17" road tyres for my chink machine? I don't want to brake the £100 mark, but after using the stock tyres for so long I don't want cheap shit either.

I like to use Michelin MT45s on lightweight bikes. They're cheap, deep tread, last for ages.

Agreed, seems like the same size tyres used on the Divvy 600, i've never lost confidence on the Pilot activs! Don't square off too quickly either.
