With the power valve always open your sacrificing power in lower revs.

I had the same issue with my rg when the previous owner put the power valve cables on backwards.

Try it with the power valve closed.

Although im not sure if that is why you are having to poor fuel into the carb.

Hi

I would suspect that the carb hasn't been set up to work with the RG.

While it is probably possible to get the RS carb to work on it, it is probably easier to just get an original carb and fit that.

All the best

Keith

This. The standard carb for the RG is a mikuni flat slide (32mm) I suspect someone has tried fitting a 34mm dellorto. Unfortunately the mikunis are hard to come by second hand.

Hi Ben, Did all the RG125F's have a TM32 like the RGV VJ21?
I thought that uk ones or some of them had a TM30SS which is a very rare carb to find secondhand indeed.

The reason I ask is that I was after one for my KMX125, but I could not find one for looking, so I had to buy a brand new TMX30 instead.

According to the manual all UK, French & German bikes came with a TM30 the Swiss, Italian & Spanish & of course Japanese home market models had a TM32. A TM34 from a VJ22 RGV250 will fit but may need some modification to the inlet manifold.
