So the question is, when are we finally going to meet up for this off road things? There have been several attempts in other threads but nothing has happened... as far as I know... Smile

Also, the trailer I bought is brand new. Do I need to take it for any kind of MOT kind of check or register it somehow before I use it?

It has lights and I am about to get a copy of the registration plate to put on it this weekend. Anything else I need to consider?

Welcome to use my bike(s) Thumbs Up.

I have a knackered rib so can't do anything too serious Crying or Very sad.

No MOT for the trailer unless it's hooooge (ie an artic trailer) - just connect up and use.

Thank you all for the replies and information on the trailer. Yes I will make sure I don't forget about having it... maybe a sticker on the rear view mirror as a reminder Wink

All that trouble and none of you can come out and play. I am very disappointed!

Anyways, I guess I will be going out on my own. Do you know of any places noob friendly that I can go close by to Croydon? Initially, I am just looking for dirt and puddles of mud to get dirty and look the part Smile

Try ginger's farm - not THAT close, but ideal for getting used to the bike.

Quick question... Is this place classed as private land? Basically, can I get in trouble with the police if I take someone there who does not have a license and I give him the bike for a spin?

Absolutely - often have kids etc there too.

I've had a selection of people riding my bikes down there a good many times in the past.

Went to Ginger's farm on Saturday but it was closed. Apparently they open in two weeks time.

Did not want to waste the trip so took the bike from the trailer and started going up and down the muddy road just to test things out. I need more mud!

I wish it was that simple. I would have to move his birthday party there and bring the rest of the family along. A lot less fun if I do that Smile

You two need to stop wanking so much and give your wrists a break.

Anyways I am a noob and not looking for anything too crazy. Should be easy enough for G to do it with just one wrist
