Just picked a bandit up for a friend and the Neutral light doesn't work

It does allows the bike to start in N with the stand down, and cuts out when you go in gear as it should.

I was told by the seller it was a faulty switch, but surely these 2 features use the same switch?

If anyone has a haynes and wouldn't mind taking a photo of the circuit diagram for it that would be much appreciated Very Happy

Any advice much appreciated Smile

I'm going to state the obvious here... Based on your description... Blown bulb? Faulty wiring to the bulb?

It's all a very much on trust thing at the moment, but the seller said the wiring and bulb were good.

I'm currently storing it for him at the moment so I'm gonna have a got at everything with a multi meter tomorrow, just wanted to check here for advice first.

I am an idiot! It's a 2001 600cc model

I've found an electrical diagram online, pretty sure it's the diode in the fuse box after looking at that.
