Sounds like the relay, yes. They're cheap generic parts, you just need to find out what shape your connector is and whether it's got two or three pins (well, blades) on it and buy a generic one to suit from eBay or a factors. You can even get them in Halfrauds if you want to get gouged for convenience. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I carefully sprayed WD-40 into the switch and made sure it isn't a dry connection issue.
I have also tried spraying WD-40 into the connector into which the relay units plug into to make sure a rusty joint wasn't causing the issue, but that didn't really help.
I have removed the relay and I guess it is broken. Ordered a spare part from ebay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390592873247?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
I hope this solves the issue. Will post an update on tuesday. |
