Hi, It's been a while since i did any carb tuning, and i havn't had time to mess about with it much lately. But my KMX125 when warm idles at around 1200-1400rpm, but when revved it and left to tick over again it stays at around 2000rpm or just over for a few seconds.

Is this normally a sign of a rich or weak pilot air screw setting?
It never stalls when the throttle is snapped, but does feel a bit soggy and slow to respond low down.

I remember setting up the carb on my old TY175 and if the pilot setting was too rich it would die after a while ticking over, and when it was lean, it would race on choke after a cold start.

The carb is coming off soon, I've done 210miles of running in now and once the bike has been for a Dyno run, the 30mm Flat slide is going on, and I suspect the VJMC will hunt me down for a lynching at Stafford for doing so! Laughing
