If you are carrying it all day then the weight is important but of strapping on the bike, no thinks. 85 quid when you can get ones at 20 or less at go outdoors.

I've used my clone of the helinox umpteen times now, £35.00 it was but I have seen the clone at £25.00.

I think the clone is just that and not a lesser quality knock-off.

Crackin little chair and comfortable if the ground is not too soft as the legs sink in.

I drilled tiny little holes in the legs and secured the rubber feet with tiny zip-ties, if you are going to do this then drill low down on the leg so that you do not drill through the elasticated cord, damhik that.

The later model is more like a sand-chair so should be better in soft ground, bit harder to get up from it as it sits much lower, but looks like a good chair, if a clone version turns up I will buy it.

I've got a Helinox Clone for £25, that is really good.

I've also got an Alite Mantis, which is excellent. £90 is crazy. But it packs down smaller, weighs less, is shiny silver rather than bright blue. But most importantly, its legs are low. So its really comfy in any situation I've used it in the last 3 months. You can stretch out without the base digging into your leg. It also packs into the porch of the tent without having to collapse it.

It's the one bit of kit that I have I now think as essential, not a nice to have.

Ok, if you're walking or cycling, I can see the weight saving may help. On a motorbike, a lot of other stuff I'd prefer to spend £85. Like fuel. Fuel = wheelies = fun!

But then, I tend to go for a cheaper AND lighter solution.

Also has multi-purpose functionality, very stable and is appropriately 'low', which it seems is a good feature!

I should point out I was actually serious too! At festivals and the like, that's my standard chair - you can go into a mosh pit and crowd surf out before the last set with it, then if it rains use it as a jacket.

Plus 1 on the clone. Make sure you secure the feet otherwise you will be digging them out of soft ground as previously suggested.
