Does anyone know where there is good bike parking in Hemel Hempstead?

I need to be in Gadebridge Park on Friday from mid-morning to late afternoon, but there is no parking in the park that day due to the Tour of Britain. It's not clear from googling, looking at the council website or trying google maps to see what provision there is in other car parks, or if it is charged, or if there are motorcycle bays anywhere. I don't mind walking a bit.

There are a few side roads (housing estates) that you could park in. It's not a bad area. Check Google maps.

Thanks. I did have a look at google maps, but on-the-ground local knowledge can help.

I know there are going to be road closures that day, and with memories of the nightmare I had getting into Leeds (even for a 5:30am start for the Tour de France marshalling) due to taking a wrong turn and then finding that the roads I wanted to use were closed and getting stuck in a perpetual hell of one way roads leading to closed roads I want to get a good idea of where I'm heading first rather than ride there and wing it as I'd do normally.

There a cafe on St Johns road just off the magic roundabout. Has pushbike parking across the road from it. I leave my bike there all the time. Don't use the carpark next to it though, they'll ticket you..

I've left my bike by the railings here before:
https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.7480553,-0.4735796,3a,75y,90.28h,82.18t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sDOAoChVak_NHXihx_FO_WQ!2e0

And further up the lane a bit near the primark there are some more If my memory serves me. Lots of bikes park there normally.

Thanks everyone for the useful suggestions.

I don't even mind paying for parking, but I'd rather not end up in an NCP thing paying "shoppers" rates of several pounds an hour due to not having time to find something better.
