Once upon a time ebay seemed quite good, between that and crucial finding decently priced modules was a breeze - having a quick look on ebay for what I need (204 pin DDR3 1333mhz) and 8gb modules are going to set me back at least £80 for 2 modules or £50 for 1. Surely not Shocked wtf has happened to prices, i'm sure it wasn't anywhere near that a couple of years ago let alone now with the pace of tech depreciation.

I believe ram is for all practical purposes a commodity, like coffee, tin, and so on. It's value varies with demand and availability. Back in the 1990s it was so valuable that when one of our offices got burgled all the tossers pinched was the ram out of the PCs.

That wouldn't be too bad, if it were 204 pin 1333.

You're after SO-DIMMs then, no-one calls them "204 pin dimms"
Laughing

Are you looking for a 8gb upgrade in total, or adding to existing ram?
How many slots?

204 is how I remeber the right ones Laughing

I'm after 2 x 8gb modules, to replace 2 x 4 (2 slots only)

Can the device take that amount of ram?

I know my laptop is maxed out with 3gb, even thought the max stated on Acer's website is 2gb.... Confused

If it can then any of these will do.
Personally, for the extra 8 quid I would pick the top one.

Yeah, the original specs say 8 gb (2x4) is max but some digging has shown 16gb works just fine.

Those are 8gb kits in the link (2x4)

I only have 2 slots hence needing the 8gb sticks
