Its a bit like the video of a guy crossing a track, and tripping over part way across. Its perfectly safe in theory, but in reality, if something goes wrong at the wrong moment, you're proper fucked.

Looks like he instinctively hit the brakes rather than getting the power on to get his front wheel over the track.

I've ridden down an old railway track (though disused!) on a crosser and it is surprisingly difficult to get off the track even when you haven't got your life flashing before your eyes.

If the rails look like being in use (shiny) I would never ride a motorcycle on them. The rails in the video were shiny = used frequently, so it was only their stupidity, hence the Dumb and dumber reference.

Yep I'm not disputing them being dumb and dumber, they can't have been in any doubt that the lines were in use and they should've been expecting a train.. or indeed.... not have been there in the first place!

I was merely pointing out where I feel the riders went wrong following their idiocy until that point... and commenting on my own experience of riding a line Thumbs Up

They were simply lucky to get away with it

So many things here that could have made things worse!

They knew the track was used, which is why they slowed down before the blind bend in the first place.

The guy behind did the right thing, on with the power and lifted the front wheel over the track and away...
however if at the moment our front hero and done similar, they would have collided and he would have been sent sprawling back on the track!

Idiot.... but lucky idiots lol
