Custom Made Movie Bike

I am looking for a few Bikers professional opinion's, This custom motorcycle was fabricated on a stock 2009 frame. The fork, swing arm and body was hand fabricated. I have about a dozen or so bikes from that movie including some from the movie Ghost Rider. The question is, are there any auction sites in Europe that would lend itself to these kinds of collectible bikes. Or perhaps does anyone know any contemporary Museum curators that might be interested in these bikes or other movie vehicles that we have in our inventory.

This sort of stuff while interesting doesn't fetch big prices over this side of the pond, we tend not to pay the sort of money thats thrown around in the US.
Most movie vehicles that are sold end up on ebay and either don't sell or go very cheap, we prefer our stuff standard and ride-able rather than as garage queens.

I remember a Lightweight Land Rover from the film 'Children of men' that was on ebay, took a fair while to sell and went for less than one in original condition.

As an aside I've no doubt people here would be interested in your work if you want to show it off.

I do remember seeing a Ford Falcon XB on Ebay last year at about the same time as my KMX. It was reputed to be an original Max Max car, and had since gone a full restoration, but had all the details like the CB radio, dash switches for the secondary fuel tanks etc.

I think it had a Big block Chevvy instead of Ford engine fitted, with a blower that was working permanently.

It was up for around £38k, which seemed a bit of a bargain for such a massive film icon, and if I'd had the cash I would have loved it, just to pop down to Tesco and back once a week in! Laughing

The cars of the stars museum in the lake district has recently shut down. The only other place that might be interested is Beaulieu and they won't want to pay for it.

TBH if it can't actually be ridden on a public road, either for legal reasons or because it's just a flimsy fibre-glass prop then you'll struggle to sell it over here.

Good comic book film (Think Batman Begins not Ghost Rider!)
Cult Classics like BTTF or Jurassic Park etc.

well thanks for the opinions guys. Our prices are "buy direct" not from a third party who buys it from us then marks the price up.
for instance the bikes pictured here were purchased new in 2009. They are 09 Suzuki 650 Gladius modified specifically for that vampire movie as is the next few photos. They all have an "aged look paint job.
The modified dirt bikes are done on new Kawasaki KLX 450.
All the bikes were bought new in 2009 then modified. They were never used except for the movie shot that was needed, so they all have a mile or so on them. They have been stored since the film was finished. The first style bike pictured is what we call the jet priest valued at 12,000.00 US$, the second photo is the Sheriff priest bike valued at 7,500.00 US$ the third photo of the dirt bikes (Kawasaki) valued at 4,500.00 US$ and the street legal Ghost Rider Buell is valued at 12,000.00 US$
The 2009 Harley Sportster Ghost Rider bike is valued at====== and can easily be made street legal by installing Head lamps, tail & signal lights and horn. Same goes with the other bikes.

These dirt bikes were 2009 KLX Kawasaki 450 with no miles on them.
Also modified for the same vampire movie. They were the bad guy bikes seen driving out of a moving trains box car.
Valued at 4,500. US$
We have 6 of them with some cosmetically varying differences and all done in a custom aged paint job.

Can't say they appeal to me... they all seem to follow the same trend of new bikes made to look like trash... and that's not difficult to pull off Sad

I'm all for modifying bikes and doing something arty with them but I honestly just don't think they look good... they just look like something I'd need to put a lot of work into before I'd be willing to be seen riding

This is the Buell used in the shot to jump over the helicopter in the movie.
This bike we made street legal here for California but never put on the street yet, so it still has less then a mile on it. We value it at 12,000.00 US$
