Unlucky. At least you're OK and hopefully the claim will be straightforward.
Had an uninsured van reverse into me before, didn't pursue it as no witnesses/CCTV etc. but the bike never rode straight after that 
What is it with van drivers? I drive one and try to avoid reversing or doing stupid maneuvers, even avoid junctions I know I'm gonna have trouble at (with no side windows).
