Bought another bike (almost...)

Well, I'm getting the hang of this ebay lark. That's three auctions I've bid on I've sniped all three in the last 20 seconds or so Cool

Anyway, I was planning on making this a cheap track bike, but I haven't hit the reserve:

I know it's old with high mileage, but I love the colour and it's the same shape as my old GSXR that I had a few years ago.

It's a bit expensive. I don't really need something that new, with only 3000 miles on it. I'd rather sell that for £4k and buy something for the track for £2k.

My credit card would be much happier that way too Thumbs Up

a '90 Gixxer 750L which I'll be selling when I get it back from having it's forks and frame checked for damage. Pretty sure it's fine though. You can see the damage in the link in my sig. Shocked

Just needs fairings N' stuff. Be easy to turn it in to a track bike. I was going to do it myself but I've made plans that won't leave with the time Crying or Very sad

Not really after a project just something that doesn't cost the earth that I can stick on a track for track days and not cry too much about any damage. I don't fancy chucking my 18 month old GSXR750 down the track (and let's face it, everyone bins it sooner or later on the track).

Your bike's looking pretty sorry in the last picture. What state is it in?

Really just in need of fairings, mudguard and a few other bits. Looks worse in the pic because the handlebars etc were taken off before the pics were taken. Just cosmetic damage really.

It was mint, low milage (less than 30,000 kms on the clock.

Fairings not a problem, provided someone makes fibreglass fairings for the bike that old.

They only list back as far as '96 for the fairing.

So, what are the details of the bike (mileage etc), what needs doing and how much are you after?

It's a bit older than I want ideally (I would like something '96-'98, I just loved the GSXR M version in the auction) but I'll consider anything. Oh-er Confused
