Were going on Sunday for the day hoping to get there as early as possible.

Just wanting to sit at the best or one of the better spots all day, camping chairs, wind breakers cool box full of beer and a small throw away BBQ, usual stuff.

Anywhere you would recommend?

We always watch from the grass at Brooklands a great overtaking place at the end of the Wellington straight and it's probably the closest you can get to the track.

Have a great time

The tele, Silverstone is crap for spectators.

If you must then I recommend Vale/Club.

Depends. I don't think there's a grandstand there for the BSB, so you probably won't be able to see much on the maggots/becketts side.

During the F1 that's pretty much where one of the corporate stands is.

My favourite spot at Silverstone is Village, saw a few crashes and overtakes there during the MotoGP and there was a big screen. Not sure if the screen would be there for BSB though.

Big screens or not, is a good question.
If screens are there, pick your spot, watch the rest of the race on the screen!
The other thing I noticed at Silverstone, MotoGP, was the PA commentary was rather quiet. The cynic in me would say that was so they could punt radios at a tenner a time!
Take a tranny! Wink

The missus and I went a couple of years back, scored a couple of free weekend tickets from a mate.

For race 1 we watched from the start/finish straight.
Race 2 we watched from Hanger Straight.

IMO Hanger straight was a much better spec as I could see Village - Aintree, and Maggots - Chapel.
